Will Luka Doncic Have A Better Career Than Kevin Durant?
[ad_1]

The NBA is full of elite players and each year it seems like there is a new breakout star ready to take over the league.
Back in 2018 when Luka Doncic was drafted, no one saw him being as good as he is.
Doncic has been one of the best players in the NBA to start his young career.
He is averaging 26.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game in five seasons.
Doncic has already made three All-Star and All-NBA teams.
The 23-year-old is on a trajectory that will have him in discussion as one of the best players of his generation.
But, how will he compare to Kevin Durant when his career is all said and done?
Fox Sports 1 analyst Chris Broussard seems to think Doncic will have a better career,
Chris Broussard says Luka Doncic is currently better than Kevin Durant & Luka will have a better career than Durant because he will lead his team, on his own, to multiple championships.

While that may be an interesting argument to have, Broussard is speaking in hypotheticals, not facts.
Durant has already won an MVP award, four scoring titles, two Finals MVP awards, and ten All-NBA teams.
Durant is arguably one of the top 15 players of all time and still has plenty left in the tank.
Luka Chasing Greatness
It seems like a guarantee that Doncic will win at least one but probably multiple NBA MVP awards throughout his career.
Also, the All-NBA teams will come will longevity and good health.
But, what remains less certain is if Doncic can win a championship as a part of the Dallas Mavericks.
He will need to win multiple championships to have himself in the same class as Durant.
Which is very difficult to do, especially with all the young talent coming into the league.
Dallas made the Western Conference Finals last year before getting knocked out by the Golden State Warriors in five games.
All the counting stats will add up throughout his career, but the number of championships won will be what can lead Doncic over Durant.
