The Portland Trail Blazers continued their impressive 2022-23 season on Wednesday night, notching another win over the Charlotte Hornets.

It was a good game with a lot of youthful play from both teams and terrific work from guys like Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons, Terry Rozier, and Kelly Oubre Jr.

Lillard and Oubre had a particular moment that turned a lot of heads.

During the fourth quarter, Lillard and Oubre got awfully close and chippy with one another.

The two players had to be pulled apart before things escalated even more.

Thankfully, it didn’t get carried away but it was still an interesting moment, especially since people rarely see Lillard get so hot and push back against another player.

You can’t blame Oubre and the Hornets for getting upset because it’s not easy to play against the Blazers this year.

Blazers Keep Burning Bright

The Blazers’ record is now 8-3 after Wednesday’s victory over the Hornets.

They have come out of the gate swinging hard this year.

This was not expected from most people who felt that Portland could be wasting another year and losing their last chance at retaining Lillard.

As for the Hornets, they are coming up short yet again.

This is partly due to the inexperience of most of the team and it’s especially due to the lack of star player LaMelo Ball, who has been out all season because of an injury.

If Ball comes back soon, the team might be able to cobble together more wins and improve their lacking 3-9 record.

They probably aren’t ready to make the playoffs this year but they could work on team chemistry and come together more.
