The Philadelphia Eagles made a bold move to trade for A.J. Brown right before the 2022 NFL Draft.

However, the trade is paying off for the Eagles this season.

While they gave up a first-round pick for the former Tennessee Titans receiver, it’s proving to be a smart move.

So how is the young receiver changing things with the Eagles and their offense?

Brown Is A Deep-Threat Playmaker For The Eagles

Every NFL team looks for players to be a deep threat during games.

However, not every NFL team has this luxury.

But with Brown, the Eagles have the luxury of having a deep-threat receiver every game.

His five touchdowns of 25+ yards more than doubles that of all Eagles receivers from the 2021 season.

With him on the field, quarterback Jalen Hurts is having an MVP-like season.

Brown is also performing at a high level in 2022, as he leads the team in receiving yards (950) and touchdowns (9).

He also holds the longest reception for the Eagles in 2022 (54) and is second in yards after catch (351).

With him crushing nearly every statistic this season for the Eagles, it’s clear he’s improving their offense.

However, it’s also improving the offense in other ways, as everyone is firing on all cylinders with him around.

He’s a key player behind a chunk of Hurts’ passing numbers in 2022.

While Hurts gets the MVP treatment this season, it’s Brown who’s helping him reach the MVP level.

With him in Philadelphia, the team has a star receiver that’s elevating everyone else around him on offense.
