The Houston Astros dismantled the New York Yankees in the American League Championship Series last week.

They swept them 4-0 and advanced to the World Series, where they will face the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Yankees, most notably fans, were asking for Houston after beating the Cleveland Guardians in the AL Division Series.

“We want Houston,” they chanted.

Well, they certainly got them.

The Astros trolled that chant with a tweet, and took advantage of the opportunity to upload a cool video of Game 4 in the Bronx which resulted in a 6-5 Astros victory to complete the sweep.

“They wanted us, they got us,” has been the team’s motto over the last few days and that includes both Yankees and Seattle Mariners fans.

A Thrilling Game For Astros Fans

The video, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, is a very cool and neatly done recap of the last game of the ALCS.

From the players getting ready to jump on the field, the rain falling, and the Astros’ run-scoring plays, it shows everything fans want to see.

Down 3-0 in the score, rookie Jeremy Pena (the ALCS MVP, by the way) belted a game-tying three-run homer that ended up chasing Nestor Cortes out of the game.

With the Yankees up 5-4, the Astros took advantage of some defensive miscues and scored two runs in the eighth inning, flipping the score and confirming their status as the best team on the field.

The Yankees offense wasn’t able to come back against Houston’s excellent bullpen, and their season ended on a sour note.

Now, Houston is facing the Phillies and the Yankees are going home to watch the World Series on TV.
