The Chicago Bears season has seen Justin Fields in his first full season as the starting quarterback.

While this is his second year in the NFL, he’s thought of as a future star in Chicago.

With him being a first-round pick, the Bears put a lot into getting him on their roster.

However, there are two signs which points to Fields becoming a future star.

1. Fields Made Improvements Throughout The Season

The start of the Justin Fields Era in Chicago had a slow start.

His passing numbers were awful, as he was last in some key passing categories.

However, he’s turning things around and making improvements.

Compared to his 2021 season, the young quarterback has six more touchdowns and a 2.8% higher completion percentage.

While most of the improvements came late, it shows how he can make adjustments to help his team.

If he can continue this, he will be a star in Chicago.

2. Fields Made History In 2022

If you want to become a star, you need to make some history.

Fields has made NFL history in 2022, as he broke NFL records and created new ones during 2022.

With him closing in on 1,000 rushing yards, he’s hoping to break more NFL records in 2022.

However, the path to these records didn’t come without some trials for the young quarterback.

The Bears didn’t start using him as a Lamar Jackson-type running quarterback until Week 6 against the Washington Commanders.

While his numbers are already breaking records, he could have broken more if he was used like this sooner.

But even with the late start, Fields is becoming an NFL star before our eyes.
