Christmas Day gave NFL fans a slate of three games to watch.

However, it only took one game for fans to see two players outshine all the others on Sunday.

So which two players shined the most during the three games on Sunday?

Baker Mayfield

It’s been awhile since quarterback Baker Mayfield has put up amazing numbers.

His 24-for-28 game for 230 passing yards and two touchdowns was good enough for him to win the NVP title from Nickelodeon.

It also shows other NFL teams that he’s not a bust in 2022, despite his rough start with the Carolina Panthers.

But with this being his best game since 2020, the performance is something important for him in the future.

If he can build off this performance, he might find himself a home next season in the NFL.

Cam Akers

Running back Cam Akers had the best game of his 2022 season against the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day.

His 118 rushing yards on 23 carries were his highest rushing yards of the season.

However, his three touchdowns are the most touchdowns he’s ever scored in a game in his career.

While his teammate got the NVP, he was the stud scoring the most touchdowns during the Los Angeles Rams game.

Besides the three touchdowns, the 23 carries were the most this season by Akers.

After being part of trade conversations before the NFL trade deadline, Akers shined under the bright lights in L.A.

This game shows he’s still a great running back, despite some of his injuries throughout his career.
